How does the appointment process work? 
Either call or fill in our online form to book an appointment. We will provide you with the nearest appointment date available. Please note that our appointments are booked as all-day appointments. 
Once your appointment has been booked, you will receive a confirmation text as well as an email. The email contains important information about your appointment, so if you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your junk folder. 
The evening before your appointment, you will receive a text message with a 4 hour window. It is important that you respond to this text with a ‘y’ or ‘n’ as this tells us that you still require the appointment. If you don’t respond to this text by 8 am on the morning of your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled. If this happens, we will contact you to rebook. You will also receive a call when Keith is on his way. 
At your initial appointment, Keith will diagnose the fault and recommend parts if required. Keith will quote you the total cost for the parts, and payment is taken at that time. You will then be booked in for a second appointment. If you need time to think about parts, then you just pay for the visit. We will email you a quote and if you decide to go ahead with the repair, we will order parts once the quote has been paid. Once parts are in, we will book you in for a follow up appointment. 
At the end of your appointment, you will receive an email outlining what work was undertaken, as well as what the next steps are. This way, you won’t have to remember what was said and will have something to refer back to. 
As parts are paid for in advance, follow up appointments for installation are free of charge. 
How should I prepare for an appointment? 
Please make sure pets and small children won’t be in the work area. 
For fridge/freezers:  
Please make sure that your appliance is plugged in and turned on for a minimum of 12 hours prior to your appointment. 
For cookers and hobs:  
Please make sure that the appliance has not been in use for at least 2 hours prior to your appointment. If it’s too hot, it can’t be worked on! 
What does the 3 month guarantee entail? 
Unfortunately, sometimes there is a bit of trial and error required when it comes to diagnosing and repairing appliances. If your appliance has the same fault within three months of repair, then there is no cost for an appointment. If additional parts are required, however, you will need to pay for these prior to ordering. 
What brands are considered Premium Appliances? 
Fisher & Paykel, Gaggenau, Liebherr, Miele, Smeg, Sub-Zero, and Wolf brands fall into our Premium Appliance category.
